Dried Flower Week: July 24-31

It’s one of our absolute favourite weeks of the year, when we give the fresh stems a rest and fill our store with gorgeous dried bouquets and celebrate the beauty of preserved flowers. Have you got a little corner at home that could use something pretty that will last years?

Beginning on Monday 24th July and running until the following Monday 31st July, both our Southbourne & Westbourne florists will have a variety of dried arrangements available, with the majority of stems dried in-house by our team over the last few months. As part of our move towards zero floral waste we dry anything we possibly can at Little Perth (you should see our drying room - it looks and smells incredible!), and we just love seeing the ways different stems evolve as they dry and take on a whole new kind of beauty. We also adore the prospect of flowers not just being thrown after a couple of weeks in a vase - dried bouquets will last you a couple of years minimum if they’re well looked-after!

So if you’re in Bournemouth next week and looking for a gift or flowers for your home, come on down next week and check out what we’ve been up to. You’ll be able to follow along as always on our Instagram - keep any eye on the stories for our latest designs, and check the reels for tips on how you can dry flowers at home!

*Please note - we wont have any fresh flowers all week, either for collection or delivery. Normal service will resume on August 1…
